Buddha Shakyamuni Chanting Puja

Honoring the Buddha’s Wisdom

On June 6, 2024 (Saga Dawa, April 30 in the Tibetan calendar), a sacred Shakyamuni Chanting Puja was conducted under the guidance of HE Thendup Rinpoche, bringing together practitioners in deep reverence for the historical Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama. Held during the auspicious Saga Dawa Month of Merit, this practice provided an opportunity to cultivate wisdom, clarity, and inner peace.

The Profound Practice of Shakyamuni Chanting

At the heart of this puja was the recitation of the sacred mantra:
“Om Mune Mune Maha Muniye Soha.”

By chanting this mantra, practitioners paid homage to Shakyamuni Buddha, invoking his boundless wisdom and compassion. This sacred practice is believed to:
Invoke the Buddha’s blessings, fostering clarity and inner transformation.
Deepen devotion and understanding of the Buddha’s path to enlightenment.
Cultivate inner peace and wisdom, guiding practitioners toward spiritual awakening.

Through sincere recitation, participants aligned their minds with Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings, reinforcing their connection to the Dharma and strengthening their resolve on the path to liberation.

A Path to Wisdom and Enlightenment

The practice of Shakyamuni chanting is not merely an act of reverence—it is a powerful means of transformation. As the Buddha himself taught:

“Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.”

– The Buddha

🙏 May this practice inspire wisdom, peace, and enlightenment in all beings.
